Art Store Launched and Ready

With the gradual decline of Etsy and privacy issues with both Shopify and Etsy, I have resolved to use the integrated Squarespace store feature. So far it has been working great! I am still needing feedback, so email me if you come across any issues with the interface. Use code "MUSHLOVE" for a 25% discount on orders of $20 and up!

November and December Events

I have in-person events happening in Iowa City! The December 14 Holiday Market is happening regardless, but I am on the waitlist. I wanted to get the date out there and will update everyone as soon as I get word of my vendor status!

Holiday Sale of Art Prints and More!

Hey everyone! I have some holiday deals on Etsy for you this year. All orders of $25 or more are 25% off, which is happening now until December 1. I will be closing my Etsy store for the winter after Dec 1, so hop on the early gifting train. It is possible that I will close it permanently as I decide whether or not to integrate my store directly into my website. It would be great to have all facets of my work in one spot, so we will see how it goes!

In other recent news, I opened an Instagram again. I decided to give it another go as I try to build a bigger audience for my personal art. "Shrumans 2" Mushroom Stickers Released on Etsy

Now that my new Cricut is operational, we will start seeing more stickers! My “Shrumans 2” stickers are a sequel to my “Shrumans 1”, which come both as a set and separately on my Etsy store!

With “Shrumans 2” I wanted to add more emotional range. I take my inspiration from the ridiculous and cute stickers found in Japanese stationery whose mascots have a life of their own. Think Hello Kitty and Sanrio, but there are far weirder and creative mascots out there. It’s more challenging to get characters to be expressive when they are rendered more realistically, but I think my experiment was successful in finding a balance!
